About the event
Are you worried about the rising costs associated with farming?
Are you concerned that your outputs won’t meet demands if you cut back on your inputs?
Did you know there is a ‘sweet spot’ where farming can be at its most profitable?
We call this spot Maximum Sustainable Output (MSO).
MSO helps calculate the spot at which your farm is at its most profitable. It considers the carrying capacity of your land based on your farm's geography, the fixed and variable costs of running a farm, and the point at which inputs maximise your outputs to farm more efficiently.
NFFN NI have recently secured funding from DAERA’s Environment Fund to calculate the MSO on farms throughout Northern Ireland and we are looking for farmers to get involved in this project.
